Hi Everyone,
Thank you guys so much for your support and interest in this project. A lot of you have expressed a desire for a printed version, so we just wanted to let you know where things currently stand. This magazine has been put together entirely during our free time, intended to be a gift and a resource for others to use and enjoy. Since the public release, it's been great to read comments and emails from those of you who are enjoying it and would like to see it go to print, and to be honest, we would love for that to happen as well. While there is the benefit of a global audience and easy accessibility online, there is something special to hold a physical copy in your hands, and of course, the opportunity of using it to reach others away from computer screens becomes an option.
So, if you like the idea of a Christian surfing magazine, you can help. Sharing it with friends is a great start. Praying is essential. Putting links on your facebooks, myspace, twitter and things like that is helpful. Getting the word out is a big help, that's the whole idea, to point others to God through the interest of surfing. If you want to see it go to print, we need financial help. Not for us to make money, just for the cost of printing, it's not cheap. So pray about it, and if you want to be involved, that's awesome.
As for future issues, that too is unclear. We looked at this as way: we were going to use our talents of photography and graphic design for the Lord. We weren't going for the monthly magazine, but more of a magazine that we could show our friends, family and others. The idea was to get that done and if the opportunity arose to print or do more issues, great, if not, great. So the future is unknown to us and we feel good about that. As for those who want to help, you can email us at the address below, or you can copy and paste this code into your website to embed a page-flipping version of Reversal Magazine and/or the book of John.

This is REALLY cool! You’ve done a great job at being true to the foundation of who you are in Christ while also being true to the surfing culture. The only question I have is where can I get printed copies of this magazine? Printing the whole thing off everytime to leave in my office for people to browse through will be difficult and won’t effectively show how professional a job you’ve done with all of this:)!

This is a very exciting project! Like many of the other commentators, I’d like to know how I can purchase bulk quantities of the printed magazine for physical distribution. If print was too expensive an undertaking, perhaps there are enough of us to underwrite the cost. It’s worth getting this magazine to the streets. Please let me know how I can help. I am really glad to see a Christian focused magazine. It’s cool to see how God even sends missionaries out into the water. The stories were interesting and the pictures were beautiful. I lost my breath a few time, so vivid. Thanks for following the calling! Psalm 119:105

Lovin’ the online mag. But, as others agree, a printed version WOULD be awesome. I live on a christian missionary ship that goes around the world, and although we don’t always have internet access (and limited when we do), we do get mail regularly. There are plenty of guys and gals on the ship who would love reading this mag. We’ll be praying for it!

We’d love to be a part of your movement.. Spreading the word through the boardriding culture is a beautiful thing.. We are a brand new company that is trying to do the same thing.. For now we offer apparel (mainly tee’s) then in the future God willing boards and other equipment all of which are incorporating something from the Good News.. Sort of gives the Christian boardriders a brand that will associate them with their beliefs and for the unbeliever just something cool to sport… A lot of the stuff out there is more on the darkside and we want to offer some light in this dark world.. We wish we could do what we are doing for free but the fact is that it takes a little money.. We’re hoping as we grow we can do some behind the scenes support with our contributions.. Love the Bonus feature cover approach and brushstroke typeface. Does the typeface exist out there or is it hand created for the cover? If it already exists, could you show me the way?
